Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of denial trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve claim issues and ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce denial rates and increase revenue
  • Stay up-to-date on payer contracts, state and federal regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and timely resolution of issues
Requirements
  • Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare denial prevention
  • Knowledge of payer benefit policies and utilization review experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write clear and concise payer appeals
  • Collaborative team style and open communication, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • IRF medical billing experience
  • Knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding classification systems
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
