About the Role

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Clinical Program Specialist to join our Suicide Prevention team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of clinical mental health experience and strong presentation, public speaking, and training skills. This role will involve providing suicide prevention educational instruction to school staff using evidence-based tools and collaborating with community partners and school districts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with community partners and school districts.
  • Identify opportunities for philanthropic support to support program objectives.
  • Act as an advocate and consultant to external partners and team members within and outside Corewell Health.
  • Assess community educational needs and develop, implement, and evaluate teaching strategies and educational programs.
  • Maintain documentation and records for services provided.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in clinical mental health.
  • LIC-Master Social Worker (MSW) or equivalent in mental health/behavioral health preferred.
