Villa Saint Joseph, a facility under the Archdiocese of Philadelphia dedicated to the care of retired clergy, is in search of a reliable Administrative Support and Security Officer. This role involves providing coverage as needed during both weekdays and weekends, emphasizing the importance of dependability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests and guiding them to the appropriate areas
- Managing incoming calls and addressing inquiries through phone or email
- Offering administrative assistance to retired clergy members
- Executing clerical duties such as typing, filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as assigned
- Performing all essential receptionist functions
- Demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Collaborating effectively with residents, staff, visitors, government representatives, vendors, and contractors
- Familiarity with video surveillance and security monitoring systems
- Exercising authority and directing personnel during fire drills and emergency situations
- Exhibiting a passion for working with the elderly population
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a receptionist or clerical role, along with experience in monitoring security systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
