Position:

Insider Threat Analysis Specialist

KBR is in search of an Insider Threat Analysis Specialist with substantial experience in all-source analysis for a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing non-technical data to support the Insider Threat mission. This role involves evaluating Insider Threat program information to uncover trends, best practices, compliance barriers, metrics, and quality assurance measures. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Insider Threat Analysis Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing thorough all-source analysis to support the Insider Threat mission.
  • Creating all-source analytical products that align with the Insider Threat objectives.
  • Aggregating and assessing program data sources to evaluate Insider Threat risks.
  • Extracting and organizing data to develop metrics, reports, case studies, and trend analyses.
  • Delivering both written and oral presentations effectively.
  • Conducting research to bolster ongoing analytical efforts.
  • Preparing and producing situational awareness and warning reports pertinent to Insider Threats.
  • Assisting in the preparation and production of analytical reports that identify opportunities for process efficiencies.
  • Ensuring quality control and editing of program products.
  • Reviewing Insider Threat information to meet program mission requirements and timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in:
    • Conducting analysis in a mission space supporting Insider Threat at tactical and/or strategic levels.
    • Personnel Security, Threat Assessment/Management, or Counterintelligence in support of Insider Threat initiatives.
    • Utilizing research and analytical techniques for complex assignments in security, law enforcement, and counterintelligence analysis.
    • Understanding the principles and practices associated with threat assessment, counterintelligence, and law enforcement.
    • Employing various research tools, including open-source research and government/commercial databases, for Insider Threat analysis.
    • Knowledge of the DoD population.
    • Providing support and expertise to a Government or Contractor Insider Threat program.
    • Demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills, including negotiation and collaboration abilities.
    • Preferred knowledge and training in structured professional judgment tools.
    • Experience with Insider Threat risk assessments and presenting findings to diverse audiences, including senior decision-makers.
    • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing support and expertise to an Insider Threat program is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
