Traumatic Brain Injury Support Specialist

**Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury Advocate - Part Time**
Access Alaska, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to assist individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injuries (TABI) in achieving independence within their community of choice.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of TABI-related services, information, and referral, as well as experience in providing peer support, independent living skills training, and individual and systems advocacy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement personalized goals for individuals with TABI
- Provide training and support in essential skills, such as goal development, skill training, service coordination, and advocacy
- Facilitate access to community resources and services, ensuring a seamless transition for individuals with TABI
**Requirements:**
- 4-year degree in health or human services or a related field
- 2 years of experience for every 1 year of education, or 8 years of experience if substituting education
- Documented TABI-related training or continued education
- Willingness to obtain a Brain Injury Certification within the first 6 months of employment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Lived experience with a brain injury or a family member of an individual with a brain injury
- 4 years of mental health-related work history
- 4 years of Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury experience

**Essential Hard Skills:**
- Computer proficiency, data analysis, and marketing
- Presentations, project management, and communication
- Microsoft Office Suite and CIL Suite database
**Hourly Rate:** $24.81 DOE, Part Time, Non-Exempt
