Job Summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a skilled Physician to conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating TBI and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review medical history documentation and conduct exams
  • Capture responses during the exam through web-based forms
  • Order and conduct diagnostic testing as needed
  • Provide accurate and detailed reports for disability award determinations
Requirements
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Neurology
  • Experience in evaluating TBI and primary care experience
  • Active and unrestricted license in the specialty field of M.D. or D.O.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
