Job Summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on communication and swallowing techniques
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supervise and mentor students and clinical fellows
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a clinician in a rehabilitation program
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
