Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
- Supervise and mentor students and clinical fellows
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as a clinician in an inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation program
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current license in North Carolina
