Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check patients in at the front desk, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Perform a variety of office duties, including answering phones, entering data into the computer, and verifying and filing insurance.
  • Process requests for medical records, billing, and accepting payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with scanning charts and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior healthcare business office experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
  • Medical terminology knowledge and ability to understand and apply medical concepts.
