Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Wastequip. As a key member of our parts team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain existing customer base through customer service and product support
  • Provide expert knowledge of Wastebuilt products and other supplier product lines
  • Exercise judgment in pricing and discounts for larger part orders while maintaining gross profit margins
  • Collaborate with the Field Service Representative to grow the customer portfolio of Wastebuilt products
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3-5) years previous office environment experience with a customer service focus in an industrial setting
  • Minimum High School Diploma. Some college or college degree preferred
  • Knowledge of waste equipment or a field that is directly or indirectly related to the industry
  • Strong bias toward providing customers with the highest level of service possible
  • Effective problem-solving, business decision-making, pattern recognition, and memory skills
  • Ability to be polite and engaging when dealing with internal/external customers coupled with the ability to defuse tense situations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems (familiarity with refuse handling equipment is a plus)
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office software suite especially Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and ability / willingness to learn Inventory, cataloging, and order management systems
