We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Wastequip. As a key member of our parts team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain existing customer base through customer service and product support
- Provide expert knowledge of Wastebuilt products and other supplier product lines
- Exercise judgment in pricing and discounts for larger part orders while maintaining gross profit margins
- Collaborate with the Field Service Representative to grow the customer portfolio of Wastebuilt products
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
- Minimum three (3-5) years previous office environment experience with a customer service focus in an industrial setting
- Minimum High School Diploma. Some college or college degree preferred
- Knowledge of waste equipment or a field that is directly or indirectly related to the industry
- Strong bias toward providing customers with the highest level of service possible
- Effective problem-solving, business decision-making, pattern recognition, and memory skills
- Ability to be polite and engaging when dealing with internal/external customers coupled with the ability to defuse tense situations
- Knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems (familiarity with refuse handling equipment is a plus)
- Comfort with Microsoft Office software suite especially Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and ability / willingness to learn Inventory, cataloging, and order management systems
