Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of plant installations by adhering to industry standards and best practices for repair and service work.
  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and service plant buildings, grounds, piping, equipment, mechanical components, and systems while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections and service activities to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Communicate effectively with Operators, Engineers, and Supervision to provide regular work status updates.
  • Perform work in area of expertise, including pipe fabrication/welding, precision machining, and precision machine service, and review/oversee performance of similar work by outside service providers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two-year or higher technical degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment, with experience in a continuous chemical processing environment preferred
  • Journeyman (or equivalent) pipe welder, machinist, or millwright with proficiency in general mechanical maintenance
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends
