Job Description

Zantech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead and execute the planning, management, and risk assessment of a full range of activities/responsibilities for an upcoming contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical supervision and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to the contract.
  • Lead and execute the planning, management, and risk assessment of the full range of activities/responsibilities as it pertains to the program.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to meet/exceed the values of Zantech and our clients.
  • Manage and oversee the entire requirement and translate these to technical directions for the team.
  • Work directly with customers and COR to ensure contract deliverable requirements and performance are met.
  • Ensure the efficient, effective, and economical level of contract support is provided to the government.
  • Provide oversight of staff and support activities; maintain contract costs; and work with corporate team to retain the most qualified team for the program.
  • Manage overall contract performance to include providing subcontract management, overseeing invoicing, contract change proposals; and understands the needs and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience providing oversight of large, multi-functional project teams, preferably in a systems development environment, and planning and managing complex tasks sometimes under tight budget and time constraints.
  • Possess an in-depth working knowledge in system life cycle development; strong management and leadership, written and oral communications skills; experience in Government acquisition; familiarity with industry best practices; and Government contract and subcontract management.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, formal education, and/or extensive experience with major software implementations.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and quality assurance concepts and guidelines for example, AGILE, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Knowledge of overall DoD contracts administration.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; Presentation and meeting facilitation experience; Proactive mentality; Masters Degree in Technology related field; PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.

Security Clearance: US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility per contract requirements.
