Role Highlights:
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will work with a diverse range of pediatric patients, from birth to 21 years, addressing various challenges such as communication, language, hearing, voice, and feeding/swallowing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thorough Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans to meet individual needs.
  • Family Guidance: Offer clear and supportive instructions to patients and their families to enhance understanding and engagement.
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain high standards of precision and timeliness in all documentation processes.
  • Collaborative Care: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to strategize and evaluate collective goals for each patient, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

Expectations for SLPs:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Provide expert speech therapy services to pediatric patients.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and their families effectively.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited therapy program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA).
  • Active state licensure as required.
  • At least one pediatric clinical rotation (preferred).
  • CPR Certification.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance.
