MRI Technologist

SSM Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.
Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality images.
- Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
- Enter and monitor patient data and transfer images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.
- Completion of a radiology or MRI certification program.
- No experience required.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
