Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Travel Nurse Source is collaborating with Amare Medical Network to find a skilled CVICU RN in Marietta, Georgia. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients with a primary cardiac diagnosis in a dynamic adult critical care unit.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform intense monitoring of patients and care for those requiring Intra-aortic balloon pumps, external temporary pacemakers, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
- Work closely with the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to assist in quick diagnosis and treatment of patients requiring percutaneous coronary intervention for ST elevation myocardial infarction.
- Respond to all cardiac and respiratory arrests in the hospital, assisting with immediate treatment of these critically ill patients.
- Provide emotional support for patients and their families, as well as educate patients and their families on how to manage post-treatment home care needs.
