Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions, including advanced heart failure, coronary artery disease, and pulmonary hypertension.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient vital signs as needed.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit or similar critical care environment.
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night shift schedule.
- Float to other units as needed.
