Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer II to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work
  • Display working knowledge of all engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance, energy management, and other systems

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
