Job Title: Transport Provisioning Engineer II
About the Role:
Segra is seeking a skilled Transport Provisioning Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, multiplexers, and switches. You will also conduct testing and troubleshooting with vendors and internal departments across our DWDM network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement DWDM network equipment
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting with vendors and internal departments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Provide technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the telecom/data industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient with desktop applications and able to utilize a computer for extended periods
