LUK Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Trauma-Informed Intervention Specialist to join our Residential Services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with youth and staff to ensure that youth develop essential skills to regulate their emotions and staff deliver trauma-informed interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized emotional regulation plans for each youth, taking into account their unique triggers and behaviors.
- Provide individual and group interventions, modeling and teaching effective responses to trauma-informed care.
- Collaborate with other staff members and the youth's multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and review progress.
- Develop expertise in the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) trauma treatment model and its application in a residential setting.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in trauma-informed care and make recommendations for program improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a closely related field.
- At least one year of experience working with youth, preferably in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
