Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Night Shift Supervisor at Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nurses and nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and ensure quality care.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or possess a valid compact license.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
