Job Responsibilities- Provide nursing services, treatments, and diagnostic procedures to ensure the health and safety of inmates.
- Interpret physician orders and administer prescribed medication as needed.
- Assist physicians with sick call and provide emergency first aid care when necessary.
- Monitor vital signs, instruct inmates on discharge planning, and report any changes in their emotional or physical condition.
- Consult with supervisors on problem cases and maintain accurate medical records.
- 1+ years of experience in Med-Surg or LTAC, or clinical documentation.
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
- Covid-19 Vaccine, Varicella, MMR, T-Dap, TB, HepB, Current Physical, Flu.
- IV Therapy Certification.
4 Full Time Day Shift, 1 Full Time Night Shift.
