About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Culinary Expert to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our guests' expectations.
  • Workstation Setup: Set up your workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Ingredient Preparation: Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as required, adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
  • Cooking Techniques: Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives, and operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc., to prepare a range of dishes.
  • Food Presentation: Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines, ensuring visually appealing dishes.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Validated knowledge of basic food preparation principles, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations, including accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage.
  • Certification: Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
  • Math and Counting Skills: Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
