Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shuttle Van Driver in Lincoln, AL to provide support to our auto haulers in the designated terminal location.

">

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Provide safe and efficient transportation services to our customers">
  • Assist auto haulers in locating units for loading">
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle at all times">
  • Remove trash and park shuttle as instructed by supervisor">
  • Perform post-walkaround to ensure all doors are secured and windows are closed">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred">
  • Ability to rapidly analyze issues, establish priorities, anticipate consequences, make decisions, and initiate action">
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance, laws, rules, regulations, and safety">
  • Attention to detail and possess a high level of accuracy">
  • Ability to provide positive reinforcement and possess a positive attitude">
  • Must possess ability to provide follow-up to drivers and dispatch team">
  • Comfortable working in a high-stress environment and ability to stay calm under pressure">
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with dispatchers and drivers">
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and listening) with motivational ability">
  • Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with time constraints, interruptions, and stressed dispatchers and drivers">

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include extended periods of standing, walking, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing more than 25 lbs.
