Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Intake
- Respond to inquiries from individuals seeking assistance with chemical dependency issues.
- Conduct interviews and complete necessary assessments to determine treatment eligibility.
- Identify and document problem areas and strengths of applicants. - Treatment Planning
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Initiate discharge planning and aftercare referrals. - Case Management
- Oversee treatment goals and coordinate ancillary support services.
- Serve as the primary contact for insurance and managed care companies.
- Advocate for patients to ensure they receive necessary services. - Counseling
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with patients and provide individual counseling.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and engage family members in the treatment process.
- Adapt counseling techniques to meet the unique needs of each patient. - Patient Education
- Develop and deliver educational materials tailored to patient needs.
- Conduct seminars on chemical dependency and recovery strategies. - Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field is required.
- Licensed as a Professional LMSW/LCSW/LMHC.
- Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor-Trainee (CASAC-T) certification within one year of hire.
- Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) must be obtained within three years of hire.
- A minimum of two years of relevant full-time experience in Behavioral Health is required.
