Job Title: Banquet Chef

Europa Village Winery and Resort is seeking a skilled Banquet Chef to join our culinary team. As a Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing banquets, parties, and other special events. If you have a passion for fine dining and a self-motivated personality, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate banquet production and plating with the Executive Chef
  • Establish daily priorities and assign tasks to the kitchen team
  • Effectively communicate with the team to provide clear direction
  • Take physical inventory of food items for daily inventory
  • Assist the Sales and Catering departments with banquets and special events
  • Assist the Executive Chef with banquet menu development and execution
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the kitchen
  • Ensure staff prepares menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Review sales and food cost with the Executive Chef to ensure budgeted costs
  • Monitor kitchen team performance and ensure procedures are completed to standards
  • Plan and manage food quantities and plating requirements for banquets
  • Maintain food preparation, handling, and storage standards
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Follow proper handling and temperature of food products
  • Plan and execute multiple banquet functions
