Job Summary

Carter Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our team at South Coast Winery Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring a seamless service experience.
  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Follow instructions from the Executive or Sous Chef, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Clean up stations and manage leftover food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stock inventory accurately, adhering to nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools or machines required, reading recipes, measuring, cutting, and working on materials with precision.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and maintain a thorough understanding of culinary practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers, embodying the values of Carter Hospitality Group.
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
