**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer for Scientific Platforms
**Job Summary:** Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based DevOps platforms for scientific applications.
**About the Role:** As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality processes and procedures. You will also provide training and support to technical operations teams, ensuring they understand and follow GxP regulations, QMS processes, and AWS infrastructure best practices.
**Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop cloud-based DevOps platforms for scientific applications
- Develop and implement best practices for security and disaster recovery
- Provide training and support to technical operations teams
- Maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support of customer environments
**Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study. You should also have at least 3 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering or a related field. Required knowledge includes GxP regulations, Quality Management Systems, computerized systems validation processes, AWS cloudwatch/cloudtrail, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Linux, Terraform, Helm, containers, cloud-providers AWS, Jenkins, and Rancher.
**Estimated Salary Range:** $120,000 - $160,000 per year
