About This Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Repetitive Benefit Specialist I. In this role, you will be responsible for providing routine processing and maintenance services for customers who have an annuity plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze internal and external customer requests and process transactions to create and maintain computerized retirement and repetitive payment records in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review and perform retirement and repetitive payment calculations and transactions within compliance requirements, contract restrictions, legal documents, and tax considerations.
  • Investigate and resolve calculation and transaction problems, including balancing and reconciling accounting and recordkeeping for retirement and repetitive records.
  • Participate in the training and development of team members, providing technical and problem-solving expertise and assisting with procedural updates.
  • Consult available resources to perform daily tasks and make suggestions for improvements in procedures and provide solutions.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, mathematical, organizational, decision-making, 10-key, and customer service skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, have good problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to collaborate with others, be emotionally intelligent, and have a process improvement mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of contract provisions, pension, and repetitive payment recordkeeping and accounting systems.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change, handle a large volume of work, and balance working independently while working in a team environment to meet customers' needs and achieve overall goals.
  • Capable of using various mainframe/PC applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
