We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Repetitive Benefit Specialist I. In this role, you will be responsible for providing routine processing and maintenance services for customers who have an annuity plan.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze internal and external customer requests and process transactions to create and maintain computerized retirement and repetitive payment records in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review and perform retirement and repetitive payment calculations and transactions within compliance requirements, contract restrictions, legal documents, and tax considerations.
- Investigate and resolve calculation and transaction problems, including balancing and reconciling accounting and recordkeeping for retirement and repetitive records.
- Participate in the training and development of team members, providing technical and problem-solving expertise and assisting with procedural updates.
- Consult available resources to perform daily tasks and make suggestions for improvements in procedures and provide solutions.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
- High school diploma or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of work experience.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, mathematical, organizational, decision-making, 10-key, and customer service skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, have good problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to collaborate with others, be emotionally intelligent, and have a process improvement mindset.
- Strong knowledge of contract provisions, pension, and repetitive payment recordkeeping and accounting systems.
- Ability to adapt to frequent change, handle a large volume of work, and balance working independently while working in a team environment to meet customers' needs and achieve overall goals.
- Capable of using various mainframe/PC applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Competitive salary range: $31.73/hour.
