We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Lineman Foreman to join our team at IES Commercial, Inc. - C&I Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electric transmission and distribution lines.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor Helper/Apprentices in safety and on-the-job training
- Work with electrical distribution and transmission line construction, electrical apparatus, and line switching, clearance procedures, and grounding
- Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
- Travel as required
- Successful completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman program or equivalent experience
- 5 years' recent experience working in transmission and/or distribution line construction
- Supervisory experience
- Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain
- Ability to read construction documents
- Pass DOT physicals/drug tests as required
- Pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, background check, and MVR check
