We are seeking part-time IT support staff to assist with end-user information technology support in the Libraries Strategic Technologies Department.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff, troubleshoot Windows, Mac, and printer issues, assign tickets in our helpdesk, prepare and update devices for deployment, and assist patrons with Virtual Reality and One Button Studio services.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with Windows, Mac, and printer systems.
- Assign and manage tickets in our helpdesk system.
- Prepare and update devices for deployment, including configuring and testing hardware and software.
- Assist patrons with Virtual Reality and One Button Studio services, including training and support.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Reliability and flexibility in regards to scheduling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
