About the Position

Riverside County, CA is seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Health Information Management department, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization, coordination, and direction of medical records activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the organization, coordination, and direction of medical records activities.
  • Review, revise, and create policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate work performance and progress of subordinate employees.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff on difficult and complex situations.
  • Coordinate with other hospital departments and supervisors to ensure accurate flow of information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Health Information Management.
  • Prior experience working with Release of Information and Chart Analysis in an acute hospital setting.
  • Knowledgeable of Title 22 and 42 CFR Part 482-Conditions of Participation for hospitals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification.
  • Valid California driver's license.
