Job Summary

Avtron Power Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead and oversee our PIC department. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials within our warehouse and distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Delivery Management: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Transportation Management: Coordinate and manage the best mode of transport and select the most suitable carrier to meet on-time delivery requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, verification, and storage of inventory within 24 hours.
  • Warehouse Operations: Develop and implement efficient warehousing procedures, including receiving, shipping, and material movements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, conduct annual performance evaluations, and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and implement bar-coding systems.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the preparation of necessary paperwork and activities required to package and ship materials and products.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and implement process improvements.
  • Performance Metrics: Track, monitor, and communicate the progress of shipments and team performance.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: At least 2+ years of prior experience in a supervisory role in logistics or a related field.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
