As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sourcing strategy that meets our business objectives and technology requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage sustainable and positive supplier relationships to achieve our objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, and Finance to understand technology requirements and business objectives.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure pricing and supply commitment.
- Partner with our Legal Team to review and finalize legal agreements.
- Monitor industry and global market conditions to identify supply and demand challenges and opportunities.
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain (Procurement or Sourcing), or Engineering background.
- Experience in leading vendor negotiations.
- Strong analytical and cost modeling skills.
- Intellectual curiosity to understand technical reasoning behind sourced parts.
- Ability to influence and convince internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams.
- 5 years of experience managing Custom Electromechanical Assembly.
- Knowledge of how to interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T requirements, and custom finishes.
- Knowledge of PCBA and semiconductors sourcing strategy.
Aurora Innovation offers a competitive salary range of $135,000-$216,000 per year, as well as an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
