The Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team is responsible for overseeing all promotional and branding initiatives for Reid Health and its associated physician group. The Marketing Coordinator (MC) acts as a vital support resource for colleagues and stakeholders to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. This role encompasses a range of administrative and marketing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Telephone Management: The MC will be the primary contact for department phone calls, requiring exceptional communication skills.
- Project Oversight: Regularly monitor the SharePoint project request list and delegate tasks within the department.
- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive research as directed to support strategic marketing campaigns.
- Chamber Relations: Serve as the main liaison for regional Chambers of Commerce, managing memberships and marketing opportunities.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to coordinate community sponsorships and event participation.
- Print Order Tracking: Manage print orders for various departments using SmartSheet.
- Survey Coordination: Oversee the creation and reporting of surveys using web-based platforms.
- Event Promotion: Work with the marketing team to promote events through an organized calendar.
- Health Observances: Prepare and coordinate monthly health observances for the CEO, collaborating on social media strategies.
- Administrative Support: Handle requisitions, purchase orders, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Content Proofreading: Assist in proofreading articles and advertisements produced by team members.
- Invoice Management: Provide scanned invoices to Accounts Payable.
- Logo Requests: Process requests for standard logo items via SharePoint.
- Website Updates: Assist with content updates on the organization’s website.
- Social Media Monitoring: Actively observe and respond to comments and messages related to the organization.
- Professional Development: Pursue annual growth goals utilizing available learning tools.
- Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize with the emergency management plan and serve as the department Safety Representative.
- Additional Duties: Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree or relevant coursework in progress; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with organizational abilities to work independently.
Work Environment: This position is based in an office setting with collaborative workspaces.
Schedule: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends for events.
