- Assist clients in accessing community resources and services, ensuring they receive the support they need to achieve and maintain sobriety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community partners to promote recovery and well-being.
- Participate in ongoing supervision and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of peer recovery.
- Current, unencumbered Peer Recovery credential from a recognized certifying body.
- Proven work experience as a Peer Recovery Specialist or similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Self-declaration of recovery for 1 year or longer.
- A competitive hourly rate of $20-$22, based on experience and other factors.
- A minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
- Ongoing supervision and training to support your professional growth and development.
