Job Summary

The Sales and Training Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through sales and developing a high-performing team. This role will oversee the Personal Training Accountants, motivate clients, and ensure results. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and experience in the health club or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Training team and membership accountant, including hiring, firing, and performance management issues
  • Train the team and provide sales leadership
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze the sales budget
  • Sell Training type memberships and lead the corporate membership program
  • Develop and implement sales policies and procedures
  • Schedule clients and sales appointments, as well as trainers to meet client and business needs
Requirements
  • Highly motivated and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Excellent selling skills and a comprehensive understanding of sales operations
  • Ability to work as a team and follow directions
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in sales and the health club or hospitality industry
  • College degree preferred
  • Personal training and group training experience
  • Open to innovative ideas in the fitness industry
