Open Position:
We are seeking a dedicated Host/Hostess for our Adorn Bar & Restaurant. This role is crucial to our team, focused on delivering outstanding quality and service to our guests.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Multitasking and prioritization skills are essential for success in this position. The Host/Hostess will ensure a welcoming experience for guests at our Bar & Restaurant through effective management of the seating area and flow of service.
Successful applicants will be team-oriented, comfortable with electronic systems, and adaptable to various assignments to foster teamwork. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and entrance.
- Adhere to uniform standards and guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Complete all assigned tasks as outlined in daily checklists.
- Distribute server slips and communicate updates to staff promptly.
- Review the blocking sheet to identify regular and VIP guests.
- Utilize OpenTable for reservations, ensuring data accuracy.
- Answer calls efficiently to maximize seating capacity.
- Accommodate regulars and concierge requests as needed.
- Optimize table usage for improved guest turnover.
- Collaborate with concierges and other staff to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle all operational responsibilities at the reception desk.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
- Update operational contact numbers as necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge.
- Provide feedback to management regarding guest satisfaction.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and operational layout.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with various electronic systems.
- Passion for luxury hospitality service.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in a standalone restaurant or bar is highly preferred.
Candidates must possess valid work authorization for the U.S.
