Diversity and Compliance Professional

Fastenal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diversity & Compliance Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action requirements and supporting the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:- Screen job applicants and conduct phone interviews with candidates in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico
- Post company-wide job openings on the internal job board and public website
- Maintain our applicant tracking system and perform data entry
- Assist hiring managers company-wide
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with state and federal laws
- Assist with developing company affirmative action plans
- Assist with maintaining our careers platforms to improve recruiting activities
- Possess or be working towards education related to Human Resources, Business, Communications, or have administrative/customer service work experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
- Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
