Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create and implement effective safety programs to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal environmental health and safety policies and regulations.

- Manage Workers' Compensation Claims: Initiate and manage workers' compensation claims, and work closely with Human Resources to track and support claims.
- Participate in Capital Project Reviews: Participate in capital project reviews to ensure that environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety expertise is considered.
- Support Emergency Response Activities: Support emergency response activities, including the development of required drills and coordination of annual training.
- Develop and Submit Reports: Develop and submit various agency health and safety reports for the company.
- Education and Experience: Two-year degree in a technical or business field, or 2 years of experience with a safety program.
- Technical Skills: Competency with Microsoft Office products, and ability to build relationships and communicate professionally.
- Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Preferred Qualifications: Occupational Safety/Industrial Hygiene experience, safety regulatory and technical expertise, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with state and federal regulatory agencies, and credentials such as CSP, ASP, or SMS.
