Key Responsibilities:- Provide prompt and professional service to members and visitors, greeting them with a handshake and introduction.
- Identify and recommend products and services based on members' financial needs, using open-ended questions to determine their requirements.
- Contact prospective members, businesses, and community groups to present information on available products and services.
- Attend community organization meetings to develop new business and create awareness of the credit union.
- Meet or exceed sales and service goals, working closely with branch leadership to achieve targets.
- Maintain open lines of communication with branch staff, working collaboratively to ensure exceptional member service delivery.
- Facilitate member requests and concerns, responding with a sense of urgency to maintain and strengthen relationships.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities to enhance relationships and provide enhanced services to members, maintaining expert knowledge of credit union features and benefits.
- Maintain working knowledge of operational and lending procedures, regulatory requirements, and credit union policies and procedures.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) required.
- Minimum one year of experience in the financial industry, with customer service experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows, basic knowledge of software applications, and compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money Laundering rules required.
This role requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods, with standard office environment, uniform temperature, and conversational noise level. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds is also required.
