Position Overview
In the role of Marketing and Social Media Associate, you will leverage your expertise to create and disseminate content across all social media platforms, enhance SEO, and grow the follower base for AlfaTech, Vela Tech, and AT-PD. You will utilize tools such as Hootsuite and Canva, among others, to ensure our social media presence remains relevant and capitalizes on current trends in both digital and content realms.
The Marketing and Social Media Associate will be a vital member of the Marketing team, responsible for producing high-quality marketing materials, conducting research, tracking, and sharing marketing information with both internal staff and external stakeholders, including architects and clients. This position collaborates with all principals and staff across various offices to prepare and coordinate public relations activities and events. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, you will receive daily assignments from both the Director and the Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team and work independently to enhance our social media presence, developing an innovative social media strategy that positions us at the forefront of the industry while maintaining high standards in coordinating comprehensive proposals and qualifications responses.
Proposal Management:
- Oversee complex pursuits that involve multiple entities, ensuring effective collaboration and content acquisition.
- Track critical milestones, including inquiries, site visits, and final submissions.
- Manage the RFQ process from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely submissions.
- Work closely with the Director of Business Development and/or Principals to include relevant information.
- Engage with clients and technical staff to gather necessary information and respond promptly to requests.
- Monitor deadlines and content requests, keeping the team informed.
- Customize content for submissions tailored to various architects and clients.
- Assist Project Engineers in proposal preparation and maintain updated resumes.
- Document past projects for future reference.
- Deliver polished proposals to clients, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.
- Maintain client communication throughout the proposal process.
Marketing Team Engagement:
- Actively participate as a member of the Marketing team for all RFP/RFQs.
- Complete a minimum of 5-7 marketing proposals or qualifications requests weekly, as required.
- Support marketing initiatives for Principals and Project Managers.
- Respond to daily requests, providing marketing information and acting as a resource for the Director of Business Development and other team members.
- Research and compile materials from our internal network for client meetings, including brochures and project descriptions.
- Prepare formal presentation materials, including PowerPoint slides and specialized literature.
- Create or update marketing brochures, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Design and distribute announcements and company newsletters.
- Maintain project/client databases and proposal logs.
- Propose innovative methods for marketing tasks, including software and tracking techniques.
- Proofread and edit all materials for accuracy.
- Manage tasks to ensure timely completion of work.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
