**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Care Provider to join our team at NLUC PLLC. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing primary and episodic care to patients in collaboration with other medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assure patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Follow protocols which provide medical authority when such are indicated in providing care.
  • Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent and non-urgent presentation.
  • Selects, orders, and perform tests and procedures to augment physical findings.
  • Define/document differential diagnoses and list differential diagnoses with most likely diagnoses included.
  • Interpret data and diagnostic results for appropriate course of action including but not limited to laboratory, radiology, EKG, etc. in collaboration with supervising physician as indicated.
  • Maintains quality, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Exercises tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive, complex and confidential patient issues and situations.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioners: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Board certified as a nurse practitioner with current state licensure and DEA license without restrictions.
  • Physician Assistant: Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program for Physician Assistants with at least 1 year of clinical experience. State licensure as a Physician Assistant. National board certification by one of the Physician Assistant certifying bodies (i.e. NCCPA).
