Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Racine, Wisconsin. As a Technician In Charge, you will be responsible for assisting and training technicians, providing customer service, and overseeing parts distribution and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and train technicians as needed
  • Provide customer service to daily customers
  • Give feedback to the Service Manager on employee performance
  • Oversee parts distribution and inventory
  • Shop reporting, warranty recovery, unit tracking, and payroll administration

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
