Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a highly skilled Thoracic Surgeon to join their team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. This esteemed hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, serving 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the most complex and highly specialized professional surgical work in thoracic surgery.
  • Direct patient care and supervision of house staff and other medical professionals.
  • Attend weekly staff conferences and contribute to the maintenance of high performance standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Thoracic Surgery.
  • Current licensure in New York State.
  • Graduate of an approved medical program.

Annual Salary

$225,414.25 based on 20 hours/week.
