Join Our Team as a Thoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thoracic Surgeon to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The Thoracic Surgeon will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures, including thoracic surgery, and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with thoracic conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex surgical procedures, including thoracic surgery
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with thoracic conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with thoracic conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Board certification in Thoracic Surgery
  • Current licensure in New York State
  • Graduate of an approved medical program
  • Excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
