Wayman is in search of a skilled Fire Alarm Sales Consultant responsible for servicing the tri-state region. This role involves conducting site assessments and gathering essential information for inspection proposals. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base by establishing new relationships while also nurturing our existing customer connections.
Leveraging your previous sales experience, you will actively identify, pursue, and maintain a steady pipeline of potential clients through prospecting, networking, and referrals within your designated area. This position will be based out of our main office.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and sell our fire alarm products to both new and existing clients.
- Identify potential customers and generate leads for conversion.
- Engage with clients to discuss their needs and requirements.

- Schedule follow-up meetings to keep clients informed about product developments.
- Create compelling sales materials for client presentations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings.
- Highlight product features to demonstrate how they address client challenges.
- Respond to inquiries regarding our products.
- Negotiate pricing and terms, preparing sales agreements as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
- Maintain an organized contact list and follow up with clients to foster ongoing relationships.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related fields.
- Strong customer service skills to address client concerns effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and networking.
- Confidence and assertiveness in cold-calling and closing sales.
- Effective communication skills, particularly in persuasion and conveying product benefits.
- Able to establish rapport with clients.
