Position Overview: The individual in this role will be tasked with the programming and implementation of commercial security solutions, including intrusion detection, access control, fire safety, and video surveillance systems. This role is integral to the Technical Services Group, which focuses on delivering technical assistance and final system commissioning for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical assistance for commercial security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, fire safety, and video surveillance.
- Execute installation, configuration, programming, and final commissioning of security systems.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Collaborate effectively with installation teams, project management, engineering, and other departments.
- Support fellow technical support specialists within the team.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients during service tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve issues remotely or on-site as necessary.
- Complete service documentation and reports as required.
- Strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electronic security systems or Information Technology.
- A degree in Electronics, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, software knowledge, and a background in electronics.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Relevant technical licenses and certifications are advantageous.
