Operations Coordinator

**Job Summary**
The Operations Monitor is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility and its residents. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process resident arrivals and departures in accordance with established procedures and contract requirements.
- Accurately record all activities and report resident movements to ensure accountability.
- Conduct regular facility counts and verify logbook accuracy.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any inappropriate movement.
- Perform equipment checks to ensure all necessary tools are operational.
- Administer First Aid and CPR as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and case managers to ensure effective teamwork.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain sensitive information on a "need to know" basis.
- Assist with meal service and transportation of residents as needed.
- Participate in mandatory training and staff development sessions.
Qualifications
- One year of experience in a security or customer service role, preferably in a correctional organization.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in writing and oral communication.
- First Aid and CPR certifications (will train for certification).
- Valid driving license and clean driving record (preferred).
Abilities
- Learn and implement contract requirements regarding community corrections and accountability.
- Work a rotating schedule, including overtime.
- Establish authority and communicate effectively.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and co-workers.
- Identify and report problems timely and accurately.
- Administer First Aid and CPR.
- Drive Company vehicle when required.
- Follow policy and procedure set forth by the Company and Contracting agency.
- Meet contracting agency clearance requirements.
Education Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred).
