Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician Lead to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating electrical/avionics activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and complete tasks on work authorizations to meet the master schedule.
  • Coordinate efforts of Electrical and Avionics activities to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervise and instruct electrical technicians on technical guidance and proper procedures of troubleshooting electrical/avionics systems.
  • Maintain a preventive maintenance program on test equipment, hand tools, and special tools.
  • Enforce company safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years experience on large/mid-size aircraft.
  • 8 years experience in aircraft avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and six (6) years related experience.
  • FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
  • FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
