Job Summary

As a Senior Avionics Technician, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the maintenance and repair of avionics systems on business jet aircraft. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshooting and teaching troubleshooting processes, and maintaining daily logs and other paperwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in the maintenance and repair of avionics systems
  • Ensure the quality and efficiency of all installations
  • Troubleshoot and teach troubleshooting processes
  • Maintain daily logs and other paperwork
  • Enforce company safety regulations and programs
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 6 years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years related experience
  • A & P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines
  • APU run qualification and engine run qualification preferred
